the top used smilies list in stats doesn't seem pick up smilies typed, only those that are used when clicked on the image when making a post. not sure if this was the same in the default phpbb package, just letting you know.

Can you explain? I don't understand your problem.

there is a table in statistics. this table shows the top-used smilies.

however, it does not count when you manually type in the smiley.

only when you click on the smilie face itself does it count.

It will be fixed in the next improvement to version 1.8 but try to refresh moudles in the ACP>Statistics

The smilie stats don't represent the real use of smilies (= the stats are wrong).

For example my smilie :whitelaugh: has been used approx. 80 times but it doesn't show up.

I have set the update time to "0" or to "1" or to "19" but the stats never get updated.

Some files have wrong content, if you edit some file, maybe contain error, if you do not edit any files thats mean some problems with FTP upload on the server, try again.

Maybe that will fix the problem?

Hmm, yeah, could be, I have edited some files to have more mods. Maybe there is something that causes a wrong smilies count

OK, I found the bug. Yes, it was a bug in a .php file. Now the smilies update OK.
