Goto your "ACP" then "General admin", "configuration", "Additional" Then theres four options (at the top): "Cleaning read history" "How many days keep unread posts" "Max amount of unread posts per user" "Prunning unread posts without posts write throught X last days" You could raise the "Max amount of unread posts per user" to get the message less often. Or mess with some other of the options to get a "system" to suit you. Hope this helps - Rob 
spacegoose - 06-04-2007, 23:51 Thanks for the info - I know about the options - but the system performs poorly as the unread posts build-up for each user - so I want to keep the unread posts limit small. I want the system to prune these after a limit, but I don't want the user to see the message. Also - the message does not make any sense.
