Anonymous - 08-09-2005, 21:23 Temat postu: Shoutbox problem Hello, I'm using your shoutbox mod with a normal modded phpBB forum, but my users have found a way to edit their names by changing the variables in the url when they are edditing their messages.
So you can simply edit your name by changing "name_edit." I tried to remove this out of the url, but then the messages will be removed in case of editted. Is there a way to stop this name changing? Last public version of shoutbox is 1.4, in my modification already is installed 1.7. phpbbhacks.com don't allow to publish my modifiaction becouse I don't have permission all mod authors (more than 200 person). Or did you make some changes in your code which didn't work with a "normal" version of phpBB? feppie64 - 26-09-2005, 15:10 I made some changes in my DB and I removed/replaced some functions (ismod, isjunioradmin,replace_badwords ect.) and it looks work fine now
